This month Road Protect staff got involved in one of our regular food packing days where we packed food for 22,032 people. A wholesome meal is a basic human right. The fact that thousands of people go without food on a daily basis in our own surrounding communities is what drives our Food Packing Scheme and give us the joy of being able to give back.
Our food parcels were proudly distributed to the following deserving recipients:
- Springs Boys High School students who are the head of their home
- Bana Pele feeding scheme in Gugulethu
- Full Gospel Church in Geduld who has a mission church in Welgedacht
- Ikusasalethu Kidio preschool in Kwa-Thema supporting their students
